The bottom line is I purchase a similar unit and like this one better. But, there is no mention of the frequency response, and I was using that as one of my most important criteria when looking at units. It seems to play music nicely, and I noticed that voices have a bit more bass in them than I'd like, but I can still understand what is being said. This unit also does not come with an auxillary cable. It would be nice to have an SD card slot, but I guess that would increase the price. I also don't see any indication that I can access the voice assistant on my phone, and that would be a nice feature as well. It is nice that the charging LED light goes out when charging is complete (I would have returned it otherwise), but there is no indicator on how much the battery is charged, not even on my phone when I connect via BT. I have not checked out the playing time. I also have not checked out the waterproof capabilities. All in all, it seems a very reasonable unit for the price.

Great speaker and easy to operate. However after about two weeks, the speaker stopped being able to connect to blue tooth. You turn it on and it makes the sound as if it is ready. Then the "connect" sound is audible but there is no connection. all my devices (tablet, phone, mp3 players) indicate "cannot connect". It has obviously locked up someway. I guess it would be a great deal if it worked. I can still plug in mp3 players with the phone jack but is not what I bought it for. Add on note: Just got it working. If the BluTh loocks up you need to press and hold the "play" button. It will then signal that it is reset .

We had duel bluetooth speakers and it became a pain to charge both and sync up togther so I wanted a single speaker and something simple. This is it, works easy and is loud if needed for $20. We took it to the beach and sand got on it and all still worked. Love that it charges on the larger Amdroid cable port like my phone uses so I don't have to have different size cables. We use it in the yard a lot for parties. Buttons are nice and big too.

I enjoy this speaker. got it on prime day so it was on sale. the music is clear and gets pretty loud. i like the lights that come on it too. the only thing i’ll say is that it doesn’t keep the battery for long. for me it lasts about 4 hours. not sure if that is because i am outside with it most of the time or maybe i need to start to turn off the lights to make it last longer. overall good purchase

I have to admit I wasn't expecting such quality from a relatively inexpensive speaker! The sound is crisp and clear and it's plenty loud. Music sounds great but if you're looking to bass it this may not be the one for you. I'm an oldster so that's def not a priority for me! Lol! I've listened to the full range of classical to jazz to rock and vocals and find it extremely satisfactory. Also when streaming podcasts etc. the vocals are clear not fuzzy like a lot of cheaper speakers. My hearing is no longer perfect at my age and I had no difficulty in understanding every word. I am very happy I made this purchase 😁

I wanted a small speaker for listening to music while working in the lab at work. I wasn’t necessarily looking for great sound but more for a cheap speaker. Well I was pleasantly surprised. Not only did I get a cheap speaker I also got a great sounding speaker. I may buy another one so I can pair them.

I bought this for a cheap beach speaker or to take on the paddle boards. Its pretty loud and good bass for the price. I charged completely before use but cant say for certain how long the charge lasts. I got stuck in a storm the first day and it got REAL wet and still worked great!! I rarely write reviews but my friends wanted the link to buy when I told them the price. thanks!

To be honest I purchased this as a filler so I could get same day shipping on another product, for $25 I wasn't expecting too much from this, upon receipt I fully charged it before turning it one, although the sound quality is decent (if you dont mind the lack of bass that is) mids and highs are reproduced decently enough, Bass is very weak, the main issues I have with this is the volume, its not loud enough to fill a medium sized room, the output power is very low, its only suitable for use in small spaces, the other is the auto off, I was playing some music which has quiet passages and it auto turned off, not once but 3 times in a row, oh well back to my trusty JBL charge 5
