I compared this directly to the Oontz Solo and Oontz Angle 3. In my opinion this one wins hands down but, just taken by itself, it's a total winner for the price. Here are my likes and the single trivial thing I don't like. LIKE: 1) Sound. The single driver with a bass-reflex pumps out loud volume with impressive bass -- keeping in mind that this is coming from a small cylinder. Obviously you aren't getting impressive bass compared to a home speaker with a 12 inch woofer. But for the size, yes, this gives you about as much punch as you are going to be able to get. 2) Flexibility. You get a LOT here: a) An audio input jack -- an increasing rarity these days. b) A micro-SD slot that can read music if you don't have an external source. c) The REAL KICKER.... if I understand the instructions correctly, you can pair two of these and get actual stereo sound instead of mono from two speakers. If this is accurate, this is a huge feature. 3) Durability. The speaker is surrounded by a metal grill. There is plastic at the ends, but it all feels secure. 4) Call quality. While none of these speakers probably gives great call quality, I found it better for both the caller and receiver on this speaker than on both Oontz speakers I tried. 5) Bluetooth pairing. I paired this to both an iPhone and an Android and both connected seamlessly. DON'T LIKE: My single minor quibble is that the controls are slightly raised black on black. They are almost impossible to read. The power button is easy to find -- it's in the center. But the other buttons are difficult, and unless you're Helen Keller, changing volume while you're doing something else will take some fumbling. Overall, a winner, especially for the money.

I got this to use for work in a 24'x24' workspace with tons of loud white noise and random fairly loud noises and it beat out my expectations quite a lot. Even better if you have an EQ option for whatever BT device you're using and can tune it a bit to make it perfect to the type of music you listen to or if you use for podcasts, audiobooks or sports radio. It actually has a nice bass tone to it for such a tiny thing. I think I paid like 24 USD on sale with tax or something and it's worth every penny so far. Today to test it we had it on for most of our 6.5 hour shift today(I probably turned it off 3-4 times for 5-10 at a time)and it didn't run out of battery. Though it can be plugged in so if anything it would have to go near an outlet if it did run out but it's loud enough so it's fine if it's in the back corner if needs be. I also took mine hiking the other day and it was good outside, too. Helps keep the bears who are fattening up for winter away...Haha. This would be perfect for a garage, home gym or office and I think you might be able to slave them so if you did that they'd make nice desktop speakers. Shoot, they'd even work for your vehicle if you're in a pinch.

The sound is very good quality. Has good range of highs and real nice lows as well. Battery life is ok. It will beep once in awhile to let you know batt is getting low. I just leave it charging while at work and it last all night for me when I get home. Has a little weight but can be hung from a fixture with the supplied paracord. Charger/SD/aux jack has a plug to keep out grime and moisture. Overall I'm very happy with this speaker. No connection issues or anything like that. My only real nitpick is I kinda wish it was a square or rectangle shape to make transporting in my bag a little easier. But that's really not a big deal. The whole thing is about the size of a large coffee cup if that helps with a size reference. Got this on sale for like $20-$25 bucks and it was well worth the price. I love it!

This a good speaker. I like to play music, podcasts, YouTube video audio, etc. on this little speaker. I play it in the car, or when I want to listen to something on my phone but don’t want to use the phone speakers. The sound quality is good in my opinion, and the battery life is great. I usually have the volume at half usually or below and it’s lasted so far for about 3 hours with 75% batter left still. The only downer in my opinion is that it is just a tad large in width. It’s wider than a soda can, or in the picture the can of beans. You can’t fit in in a cup holder. That doesn’t bother me too much though. The speaker is just too good for that to be much of a bother. If size is a concern for anyone interested in buying, I still would recommend it to you. The size really is not much trouble. Great speaker. Highly recommend.

We needed to replace our portable Bluetooth speaker because after daily use for 18 months is just suddenly died one day. We needed something with good sound and finally settled on this speaker. The sound is much better, more full than our last speaker. This one is definitely larger than our last one (see comparison to our 5lb chihuahua), but I love that I can carry it on my wrist when my hands are full and I'm moving to a different level of the house. I couldn't do that with my last bluetooth speaker. I haven't taken it in the actual shower with me as of yet, because the sound is loud enough I don't need to. It connects up to Bluetooth almost instantaneously when I turn it on. As of right now I highly recommend this speaker. Hopefully we will get a lot of life out of this one!

I purchased this speaker for a door prize for a party. Everyone was really excited about it! It was the most coveted prize. I was happy about the price, very budget friendly, but it did not sacrifice quality. I tried it out and it has a very clear sound and it can get quite loud which is nice. It has a “subwoofer” type thing on the bottom which seems to help make the base more prominent which I really enjoy. It’s a very nice size, it fits in your hand, And the wrist strap is a nice addition. Overall I would purchase it over again, it would be a wonderful Christmas gift!
