i like this speaker because it small not an ideal with a party, it is more idea for personal use but it is good buy

We purchase the radio in March 2022 and used it quite often. But just yesterday (July 2023) while sitting on my counter on the charger, it started saying "low battery please charge" ... And when we walked to the kitchen to check on it, a good amount of smoke was pouring out of the charging port, and it stunk up the entire house.... I immediately unplugging from the charger (a standard low amperage charger as recommended) and placed in the yard, smoke stopped shortly afterwards. I have not attempted to use it since. Aside from nearly burning my home down, Its a solid unit.

Listen- you paid $40 bucks for this unit, don't expect stadium filling sound or deep, chest pounding bass because it ain't there. Pros: -price -portability -fm radio -blue tooth -external devices (ie external hard drive with music can be attached to the usb hub) -blue lights (if you like them) Cons: -blue lights (if you don't like them), I know today's portable music player fetish seems to be blue lights and such, me personally don't need them, only problem is you can't turn them off (at least as far as I can tell -and it doesn't state such in the instructions) and they obviously take battery energy away (albeit minimally) -not the prettiest looking player in the land, to me it's kind of homely looking but I don't plan on staring at it all day, it's just for outside use. -FM tuner sensitivity. My favorite station is a local college station that plays jazz. Every other radio in my house and car can receive it indoors but this unit can't. Compounding this you cannot 'manually tune' in a station, it's auto-tuning so weak stations get passed up. Also the FM antennae looks very, very thin so it could be prone to breaks if mishandled or accidentally closed forcefully. And once it's broken it could be hard to replace -so keep a metal hanger nearby for plan 'B'. Misc: The unit is well thought out, well operational, and for it's price it's in a league of it's own. Only potential issue is it's made in China, no surprises there and decent, good stuff comes out of there. But in my experience low costing electronic devices tend to work well -at first and depending on the quality of circuitry used it's lifetime can vary from short term to long term. In a nutshell it's crap shot but again, it's $40 so no one's going to shed a tear if it keels over a day after it's warranty expires. -the unit size varies from review to review; some say it's large, others say it's small. I say it's size is relative to your needs meaning it's not a 1980's "on your shoulder" carrying boom box, but then again it's not a small, pocket sized walkman either. The pic attached gives you an ideal of it's size.

The media could not be loaded. Summary: it's a unervasal amp that is turned into a speaker in a carbord housing with Walmart brand speakers "the 2 orange speakers on the front" Geeky: So I originally thought it was a cheep speaker, but I did some rewiring. Thinking back to my old car... I thought it may have same issue were the speakers are over powering which would explain the high distorting on lower bass areas of songs. After some electrical testing discovered it was a universal 9v-24v amp that goes to 100watts and has 3 speaker ports, not 2 speaker and 2 twetters. Rewired the 3.7v battery with a spare battery laying around. It's 8v now and I try to get to the minimum 9volts need to power the thing properly. "Had a old portable sub boxe laying around" I move the motherboard and integrated into the sub box. On the motherboard I paired My 2 old rca 10 watt speakers were paired with the 2 "Walmart" speakers. Port 1: rca 10w speaker and walmart 10w speaker. Port 2:50w sub Port 3: rca 10w speaker and walmart 10w speaker. There's no distortion now and the bass goes to 34 htz, with only spending about $4 on the glue.

The media could not be loaded. It’s a nice little Bluetooth speaker for the price, at first I was skeptical about the purchase however I like the sound quality and the EQ option so that you can adjust it to the type of music you’re listening to. The remote and the bogus capabilities such as “Aux In, Radio, Flash drive” makes it versatile and portable for any occasion. I’ve only let it play continuously for 2 hours so I’m not sure about how long the battery will last per charge, I use it out on the patio and inside for cleaning and relaxing. I mainly use a flash drive with my favorite music on it and just let it play, it’ll remember which song you were listening to if you have your flash drive in the unit. If you’re looking for an inexpensive small/portable Bluetooth speaker you should give this one a try.

I was looking for a speaker that I could easily take outdoor without spending too much money. At first I found the sound quality to be mediocre until I found the equalizer option. You WILL NEED to use the included remote to turn the Equalizer if you want good sound. I was amazed at the quality of bass and improved sound. Please note the size, it’s in the smaller side and light. Perfect for small gatherings. I use it when I sit outside in the porch and has given me couple hours of music without charging no problem. Great value for the price!

If you plan on getting this get ready to make some sacrifices. I just want to start if by saying the speaker is load just like it should be. The battery last long and it lets you know when it’s dying. The music comes out clear that’s not a problem. The problem comes later. My speaker handle broke the first day of having it. And two days later the front frame broke. The speaker in its self work great though. So if your willing to endure that is is the speaker for you

Gave this to my daughter as a gift and it is so loud I can hear it upstairs. Now I am always begging her to turn it down.. She gets asked about where she got it all of the time. Will recommend as it was a great find!
