I bought this because I listen to music in the shower to help time when to rinse out my conditioner. My shower door drowns out my phone speaker unless I have it blasting at full, so I looked to this speaker instead. The speaker connects quickly, and I haven’t had any issues with the speaker disconnecting during use. Despite the small size, it’s pretty loud! The volume buttons on the side are soft but sturdy. It could just be my own ignorance but I don’t think it has a skip/back button, which is my only qualm. I keep the speaker on a hook out of the direct water stream. The sound is clear and the bass is good, as to be expected with JBL products. It isn’t as good sound quality as the pricier, bigger speakers, but it’s really good in terms of these small clip on speakers. I could see this also being super convenient for summer camp, picnics, etc. It’s much easier for me now to listen at a more reasonable volume with this speaker. I love it and recommend to anyone looking for a small, portable, waterproof speaker.

CONS: I needed something small for cleaning at work and this little speaker is perfect. I was a bit worried that listening at max volume like I mostly do would blow out the little speaker, but it handles extremely well. Better than all other speakers I've owned that were the same size. (Like all JBL speakers) It's affordable and the loop on it makes it convenient to hang on whatever you want. Sound quality is absolutely amazing. Bass sounds really good. CONS: When it's turned up loud, it will move around and rattle on hard surfaces, so much that it has actually fallen off of whatever it was sitting on. Even with the rubber on one side for hard surfaces, it doesn't make a difference. I have to carry a small rag to place it on top of to prevent this. If listening at a low volume, this won't be a problem. Also, I have to charge it so often that I pretty much will have it plugged in if I'm using it. The battery will probably last longer if listening at lower volumes.

Let me start by saying I LOVE this speaker! It works GREAT!!! Bought it in May & used the sh@t out of it at the pool every weekend. Apparently there must have been some water in the charger port last weekend because I smelled it burning and melting the cable. See pics. Now it’s useless and it’s too late for a refund. Hence the 1 star review. $50 down the drain. Lesson learned. UPDATE - ok, so I felt guilty about my 1 star review & I cleaned the ports on the speaker as well as the charger, with alcohol (rubbing, not tequila) & it’s charging again & works great! WTF? Rating immediately switched to 5 stars!!! Moral of the story: wait for the speaker to dry completely if you use it near water. Even though it’s not immersed in the water, that part of it might be wet.

I'm very happy with this speaker. The sound quality is quite good, the amount and quality of the bass is especially surprising given the speakers small size. It's not going to rock a house party, but it's plenty loud enough for a personal speaker. My main use is for kayaking. The bass is strong enough that it vibrates the kayak and the kayak becomes a bass resonator. It's great. I know that it's really and truly waterproof. I don't always use the speaker and one day when I wasn't I wondered what that burbling noise next to my kayak was. Well it turned out to be my Go 3 speaker which was thankfully tethered to the boat. Just merrily tumbling through the water at the end of it's string. That was months ago and it still works perfectly. My only complaint is that the logo doesn't seem to be attached well, part of it has already detached from the speaker. Still sounds fine so I'm still happy.

I got this speaker to clip to a carabiner, to clip to my handlebar on my ebike so I can jam out without annoying airpods, which are terrible anyway. Now I use it as an aux speaker for my laptop and a work speaker when I can listen to my jams. It's so loud when I max it that people are jamming out up to 100ft away with me. It's nice and smooth, delivers a little thump to your wrist when at the laptop and something with some bass comes through. The battery life is questionable. Specs indicate 5 hrs, I think so far I've gotten like 3-4 on a charge. But honestly, it's a short-use speaker. Totally portable. Good sound. Great connectivity. Very well-designed for its purpose and audience. Falls on the floor and thinks nothing of it. . . I got a soundbar the other day for my laptop. This little thing blows that purchase away. So. . . I regret nothing.

We love taking our speaker along with us to all our outdoor activities. It perfect size to just toss in a bag and take with us. It has great sound, is durable and water proof.

absolutely love this speaker, can't imagine life without it at this point, it's been almost a year and it still sounds like i just got it yesterday. great for showers, great for outdoors, great for indoors. the bass is great and the sound quality is unmatched
