I like this speaker because it’s perfectly designed. The back where the charger piece goes is covered and you can pull it aside when it needs a charge. The buttons for volume/power/etc are like a rubber texture so it feels smooth. It’s small but the sound is surprisingly pretty loud. I purchased this for to listen to music in the showers and when having guests etc. I use this around the entire house. Love it!

so far, I am loving my new speaker, but I’m just a little confused as to where to plug in the USB to charge it the instructions don’t really show anything about how to charge the speaker

Quality, weatherproof and long lasting batteries. For the price you can't beat it. Not as good as JBL, but a fraction of them cost and the quality is just about as good. Going to order another. My JBL just bit the dust after 10 years.
