So this isn't exactly what I wanted but that's on me for not reading the description properly. Not something ill dock stars for. I wasn't to surprised as I didn't think i would find what i wanted anyways which was a small portable speaker that actually plugs in directly to the laptop and doesn't need Bluetooth to work. I've had so many issues with Bluetooth and computer speakers that I just don't normally use that feature on my actual computers at least. Im traveling out of the country for almost a month and I needed a speaker I could pack that wont take up much room. I don't like using the laptop speakers. That said I did decide to give it a shot and it connected very nicely to my new laptop that ill be taking with me. I haven't tested my work computer yet but that's not as much a concern. The sound was excellent the size is great. It wouldn't take up much room at all in my bag. Im traveling for work/vacation and have limited space for what I need. I haven't compared it to the smallest soundbar i could find yet which is at least 2 - 3x the size. Which is much bigger then i want to pack so ill probably suck it up and hope the Bluetooth doesn't decide to stop working either on my computer or the device.

This speaker has ended my quest. To find a small portable speaker with Bluetooth, aux in, and most importantly: DOES NOT MAKE ANY EXCESSIVE ALERT NOISES! Pretty much every Bluetooth speaker out there has some voice that declares “BLUETOOTH CONNECTION SUCCESSFUL” or “POWER ON” etc. It’s so annoying/unnecessary (I know that I just turned the speaker on thx) This speaker utilizes an LED light to inform its status and stays pretty much silent outside of what you play through it. Makes it perfect to use for me listening to ambient music late at night without some startling lady shouting “BATTERY LOW” while you’ve drifted off to sleep or something. I also use it as a portable monitor for my synth/music gear so aux in is a necessity. Sound is pretty nice for such a small speaker, not much more you can ask for and at a good price. I can rest now, the search is over.

This is one of my favorite purchases ever on Amazon! I read a lot of great reviews, but I was still surprised by the quality of this tiny speaker. For a speaker that fits in my small hand, the sound quality is amazing even when it gets pretty loud. I bought it on Prime Day and got a good price, but even at its full price, it's a great deal.

This is not the first Oontz I've bought and I'm sure it will not be the last!! I love these little guys!! So much power from such a little device! I use them for when I shower. I use them at work to fill the entire job site to fill the atmosphere with the right songs to Jeri them going and to get the job done right!! I bought this one for the second time but I do remember where I was when I drove off and it was left on the outside of the vehicle... 😒 I've still got the carrying case for the last one I bought! So do not hesitate, get one if these and you'll not regret it at all!!

This is my second set of Oontz speakers. I bought three several years ago and they held up very well. Eventually the volume started to wear out, but boy did I get my money’s worth.. The new set is even better, nice and loud, clear, and easy to take along. I use my speakers mostly for audio books and to talk on the phone. I don’t need to think about bass and all that. I want to be able to hear my book in the shower. They also connect nicely to my cheap Lenovo ear pods, and the sound remains clear. I’m really pleased with all my Oontz speakers and can highly recommend them to folks who are not looking for pristine music. I’ll let other people review on that.

Now that I have your attention, I really like this small bluetooth speaker. The sound quality is great and it can go loud for its small size. I typically don’t listen to it loud but mostly in the evenings when I don’t want to wear the headset and still keep the noise down to where it doesn’t bother the roomies. It has an auto-shut off which I like too. I highly recommend this speaker for the sound quality plus it charges quickly and the charge last a long time. Oh, I only fell asleep while using it the first night. But then, I don’t kiss and tell…..

Using it primarily to pair with my phone so as to playback music and recordings. Actually seems to pair quicker and easier than our older ANGLE 3 Oontz. Makes plenty of sound to fill the room, and again, it seems to have at least as much punch as our older, and bigger ANGLE 3. After the initial pairing with my phone so that it appears in my phone's listing of BlueTooth devices, it is quick an easy to use after that. I turn it on, and hit play on whatever audio I want to hear from my phone and I'm set. Also, don't forget that it has a built-in mic, so that you can use it like a Jabra conferencing speaker/mic setup, but for a lot cheaper than the Jabra. Better-than-average sound quality, both at low and high volumes, but it cannot compete with my JBL headphones for sound quality, but at one-quarter the price and with a solid casing, I don't stress about damaging the Oontz. I do think conversation/voices do come out a little sharper/clearer on my Jabra, but at the same time I think music sounds a little better on the Oontz. I like the "wrist strap" for hanging it from something, like a doorknob or hook. And all for under $20.

My husband and I love to ride our bikes on our community bike trail. This little speaker snaps right into the bottle holder snuggly. I can adjust the volume directly on the speaker or on my iPhone. The sound is excellent and it makes our bike rides a lot more fun. I think we actually go farther!
