I bought 2 of these to pair for (((STEREO))) music and the effect is excellent! They're not quite as loud as I hoped (in my backyard), but they are loud enough that if my neighbors played them after dark at near full volume without prior notice, I would address them about it. The bass is acceptable, but not bone penetrating. They're probably all that I need because I'm older (approaching 70) and I'll be listening to a lot of jazz and music from the '60s up to some present day, and I'll probably only be entertaining a more mature gathering, but younger people partying outdoors will require a lot more volume. Oh, and to let you know where my head is at, I turn those annoying disco party lights OFF.

Dear Sir/Ma'am Charging Port Popped out inside the Speaker. The charging port,,i.e. connection to the printed circuit board is the Actual connector soldered to the pcb which is very easily poor design because it is only a solder joint holding the connector itself,,so when you are attempting to connect the charging cable,,you eventually end up pushing the connector completely off the pcb (printed circuit board),thus making this wonderful speaker useless once the charge has bn depleted. So this speaker has sat in the corner for the past year and a half cause I had no solution! I know my window has closed to send it back,, I jus want a simple repair

Liked the speaker but the charging port is poorly located on the front by volume know. Also not as loud as you would think with the Pyle name
