I ordered this almost a year ago to use as a temporary substitute until I could get a "better quality" speaker. 10 months and 2 speakers later, I'm still using this one! Having the suction cup lets me stick it right on the side inside of the shower so I can control the songs/volume right there. It doesn't get as loud as I'm sure some would like, but when I turn it all the way up, I can't hear myself sing, so it works for me haha The only complaint is that when the battery gets to 30-40%, it will beep while I'm using it. I wish it'd wait until the battery was a liiiitle closer to dying, but I don't have to charge it very often so it's not that big of a deal. It's a great little speaker, especially for the price!

Such great volume and clarity! Distance is pretty good too and I can play from across my house and hear it clearly as well. Very impressive for such a small speaker. Shower friendly just not in direct water but splashes are ok. Perfect for my musical mind and needs

For the price, this is a great little speaker. No, it's sound cannot match that of higher end devices, but that is not what I use it for. I use it for the shower, and for that, it is perfect. I'll point out it's strengths below, but first want to mention a feature that was initially annoying. Like other devices, two buttons control skip forward and skip back. These same buttons control volume down and volume up. BUT... unlike the three other bluetooth devices I have, pressing the button ONCE performs the skip function and holding the button down for a couple seconds performs the volume function. This is exactly opposite of all my other devices. What bugged me is that you can't bump the volume up a notch -- it is nearly impossible to make fine adjustments. Why did I still rate this 5 stars? Because I got used to this feature and started to LOVE the ability to skip with a click of a button. I generally use my phone to do minor volume control if needed, but the press and hold function certainly works in a pinch. What else is good? Well the suction cup holds strong to any smooth vertical or horizontal surface. It is sometimes hard to dislodge as there is no "grabber" tab along the edge of the cup like some devices have. Not a problem, though. Also, the sound is plenty good enough for podcasts which is what I use it for primarily. I've noticed that I even use this device outside of the shower because it is so convenient to carry around with me, either in my pocket or clipped to a beltloop via the carabiner. At any rate, if you can grab this little thing for less than a Jackson, go for it!

I like the design of this speaker, except for one thing: The controls are black-on-black and hard to see in normal circumstances, let alone without glasses in a steamy shower. I try to turn up the volume, but instead I've skipped to the next chapter. It would be nice if the buttons had bold symbols to eliminate this problem. There might not be a solution for the next issue, which is that, once it is paired with my phone, it won't pair with any other until I manually unpair from mine. I think this is a standard problem, though. I bought this for the family, but no one else has used it because it automatically pairs with my device, and even if I'm not there, it won't connect to anyone else's. Finally, there's a signal that plays over and over that I believe is a low battery indicator. It pauses whatever I'm listening to, which is usually a book or podcast, and then a few seconds of my audio replays - very annoying. But after using the speaker a few times, it always does it, over and over, even when I've just charged it. I guess you get what you pay for. If not for these glitches, I would really like this speaker. It's perfect for attaching to a belt loop or backpack so I can listen to a story while I work.

I didn't realize it was gonna be so small. It fits in the palm of my hand. The sound quality isn't terrible but the volume is. It's gotta be right next to me to even sound good, otherwise you might as well be in the other room. I've only tried it on a window but so far suction is very strong, so I do like that. I haven't tested out the waterproofness yet, so we'll see. I like that it comes with a little clip, I like to out it on my belt loop when I walk, so portability is nice as well. It's not bad at all for the price, I mainly with it was louder? My main issue is the battery life, I'm sure all have dealt with the irritating chimes of "Battery low", this one starts it at 50% battery life. That's ridiculous. It chimes maybe every 5-8 minutes. I haven't gotten lower cuz it's annoying as is. Duller tone than most, but the fact I charge it all day just to be able to use 50% of it before my music is interuppted is extremely uncalled for. Most at least start at 20%. If that's fixed, then maybe I'd consider another. It's a nice speaker to sit next to you when you wanna relax, just don't take it by cars or tvs, you won't hear your music at all.

Tl;DR good sound for the price, water resistant, bad button design. The button set up for volume up/skip, volume down/replay is counterintuitive. You have to hold to volume up and press for skip, so getting the volume just right is a nightmare and I usually end up skipping 4 songs trying to get the volume to the right level when I can't use the volume controls on my phone. Then when it gets to less that 50% battery it starts beeping intermittently until the battery is above 50 even when its plugged in and charging. But the sound is decent, has some base, doesn't have the hollow sound, loud. I regularly take it into the shower do it's definitely water resistant. Good but great.
